our process
Blending modern design with traditional whisky-making craft, Dalmunach has quickly established a distinctive fruit forward style, shaped by carefully designed copper stills, precise fermentation and a patient, expert-led approach at every stage.
The journey begins with malted barley milled into grist and gently mashed to release its sugars. Fermentation transforms the wort into wash, which is distilled twice in copper stills. Through careful timing and precise spirit cuts, the distillery shapes the vibrant fruit character of Dalmunach.
